In December of 2017, the city of Manteca, California moved closer to helping the state achieve greenhouse gas reduction goals.  With the electrification of this 1.3 MW solar facility, California is now on track to reduce emissions levels to that of the 1990s. Pacific Gas & Electric partnered with AES DE through a 20-year PPA for this solar facility located in Manteca. The array consists of 3,876 solar panels and is expected to generate nearly 2 million kilowatt hours of renewable energy in its first year of operation.
